Contests and draws
SATO holds contests and draws in social media among other instances. The rules of current draws and contests can be found below. If you know of an ongoing draw that has no rules visible here, please contact our customer service.

RIGHT TO ENTER THE PRIZE DRAW
All randomly selected residents of SATOhomes who have answered the customer satisfaction survey for current residents sent to them by email between May and December 2023, excluding employees and family members of employees of enterprises participating in the preparation or implementation of the prize draw, may enter the prize draw.
PERIOD OF PRIZE DRAW
There will be one prize draw each month until January 2024. The first prize draw takes place in June 2023. Each month, the prize is drawn among those who answered the previous month's survey.
HOW TO ENTER THE PRIZE DRAW
Entry to the prize draw is by answering the customer satisfaction survey for current residents sent by email between April and December 2023. To enter the draw, the responder must answer the customer survey during the month in which the survey was sent to them by email.
PROCESSING OF DATA
1.1 All survey responders participate in the draw automatically. We process the e-mail addresses of the surveys to carry out the draw. In order to deliver the prize, we also process the name and address information of the winner of the draw.
1.2 The file controller for the data provided is SATO Corporation. In matters relating to the processing of your data, please contact asiakaspalvelu@sato.fi.
1.3 Survey is done based on SATO's customer data. If you have refused to participate in customer surveys, we will not email you the survey.
1.4 We will not transfer your data outside the EU.
1.5 The name and address information of the winners of the draw will be kept until it is necessary to carry out the draw. If we have another basis for processing data (e.g. customer relationship), we will continue to process data for these purposes. SATO will not hand over the information you provide for the purposes of the draw to third parties.
1.6 You have the right to request access to data concerning you as well as the right to request the rectification or erasure or restriction of processing of the data or to object to processing. If you have concerns about the lawfulness of the processing, you may lodge a complaint to the data protection supervisory authority.
PRIZE
The prize is three (3) S Group gift cards the value of which is €20. Each entrant can win a maximum of one prize.
PRIZE DELIVERY
The winner will be notified personally by email. If we do not reach the winner within 72 hours from the notification sent to the winner, we will carry out a prize draw for a new winner.
ORGANISER’S RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY
SATO is responsible for any lottery tax. The prize draw entrant releases the prize draw organiser as well as its partners from liability for any loss or damage incurred or alleged to have incurred from entering the prize draw or receiving a prize. SATO is not liable for any information technology issues or problems preventing entry to the prize draw. SATO is not liable for any obstacles to receiving a prize or any damage to a prize. For the sake of clarity, it is stated that SATO delivers the prize by mail to the delivery address provided by the winner of the draw and SATO is not responsible for delivery or delivery of the prize.
ENTRANT’S RESPONSIBILITY
The entrant is responsible for providing the correct contact details within 72 hours of the announcement of the winner. SATO has the right to reject an entry to the prize draw if the entrant fails for comply with the Rules of the Prize Draw or is suspected of fraud.
THE OFFICIAL RULES APPLY TO ALL ENTRANTS
By entering this prize draw, the entrants undertake to comply with the official Rules of the Prize Draw and the organiser’s decisions. The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the Rules and prizes.

RIGHT TO ENTER THE PRIZE DRAW
All persons aged 18 or over who are permanent residents of Finland may enter the prize draw, excluding employees of companies involved in its preparation or implementation and their family members.
PERIOD OF PRIZE DRAW
There will be one prize draw each month until further notice, on the last Friday of each month. The first prize draw will take place in March 2026. The prize draw will be conducted among those who have commented on the prize draw post published on the last Friday of each month.
HOW TO ENTER THE PRIZE DRAW
Entry to the prize draw is by responding to the prize draw post published on SATO’s Facebook page on the last Friday of each month, in accordance with the instructions provided in the post, for example by posting a photo, answering a question or commenting on the topic of the post.
PROCESSING OF DATA
1.1 By participating, you consent to SATO to process the personal data you provide in connection with your participation for the purpose of conducting the prize draw.
1.2 The data controller of the information provided is SATO Corporation (Business ID 0201470-5). For matters related to the processing of your data, you may contact asiakaspalvelu@sato.fi.
1.3 Participation establishes a relevant and legitimate relationship, allowing SATO to process your data for the purposes of selecting winners, contacting them, and delivering prizes.
1.4 Your data will not be transferred outside the EU by SATO. However, Meta (Facebook or Instagram) may transfer data in accordance with its user agreement.
1.5 Information shared on Facebook remains there for as long as you wish but will only be retained elsewhere as needed for the prize draw. Afterward, SATO will not store your data.
1.6 You have the right to access, rectify, or request the deletion of your personal data, restrict its processing, or object to it. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority if you suspect unlawful processing.
PRIZE
The prize is two (2) SuperLahjakortti gift cards the value of which is €20. Each entrant can win a maximum of one prize.
PRIZE DELIVERY
The winner will be notified of the win in the comments of the prize draw post. If the winner cannot be reached within 72 hours of the notification, a new winner will be drawn. The prizes will be delivered to the winners by email.
ORGANISER’S RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY
SATO will cover any lottery taxes. SATO and its partners are not responsible for any damages arising from participation in the competition or receipt of the prize. SATO is not liable for technical issues that may prevent participation or for any obstacles to receiving the prize or damages resulting from it.
ENTRANT’S RESPONSIBILITY
The entrant is responsible for providing the correct contact details within 72 hours of the announcement of the winner. Participants agree to adhere to the rules of this competition as well as the terms of service of Facebook and/or Instagram. SATO reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates the rules or is suspected of misconduct. SATO has the right to reject an entry to the prize draw if the entrant fails for comply with the Rules of the Prize Draw or is suspected of fraud.

The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the Rules and prizes. Facebook does not sponsor, endorse or administer the prize draw in any way, nor is it associated with Facebook. Participants provide their information solely to SATO. By participating, participants agree to release Facebook from any liability and claims related to the prize draw.
